The Swedish consulting company Tyréns AB, is now taking the step into the international market through assisting with a Management Buy Out (MBO) of Adams Kara Taylor (AKT) – one of the most awarded and respected structural engineer in the world.

AKT, named after the initials of the founders, Robin Adams, Hanif Kara and Albert Williamson-Taylor, has been part of the listed international British consulting company, the WYG Group, for the past five years. AKT operates on a global market, with projects in Europe, Africa Asia, and the Middle East.
AKT has a position as one of the foremost ”design-led” structural and civil engineering practices by applying creative thinking to every aspect of the practice. This creativity and reputation for delivery has fuelled AKT’s close relationships with the world’s finest leading architects, such as Zaha Hadid, Foster & Partners and others.
Some of the construction projects in which AKT collaborated as structure engineers are: Park House on Oxford Street, Sheikh Zayed National Museum, National Maritime Museum, Peckham Library, Stone Towers, Henderson Waves Bridge, Heydar Aliyev Merkezi, British Pavillion Expo 2010 and Phaeno Science Centre.
Tyrén’s strategy is to provide client-based services, in the areas of infrastructure and urban development, to contribute to a more sustainable society.
